Career Readiness Workshops:

Career Fair Prep Workshop

The Career Fair Prep workshop, led by an employer representative and CareerHub team member, is designed to prepare MATC students for a successful career fair experience. Learn actionable take-aways for career fair etiquette, dressing for success, creating an elevator pitch, drafting a resume and appropriate follow-up. Open to all MATC students.

Resume Workshop: Build, Transform & Impact
Date: Thursday, February 15, 2024

During this engaging workshop, join the CareerHub team for lunch and to learn key techniques for building a resume that highlights the skills you have developed throughout your education, work and various life experiences. Members of the CareerHub team will be available for resume reviews during the last 30 minutes of this workshop.

Preparing for an interview? Join us for lunch as we explore interview tips, techniques and strategies to ensure that you are successfully approaching your next interview and scoring that next role! Members of the CareerHub team will be available for mock interview sessions during the last 30 minutes of this workshop.

Paramedic, EMS & Fire Protection Career Fair

Attend the Paramedic, EMS & Fire Protection Career Fair to meet employers with full-time and part-time job opportunities. Many of these employers are seeking to fill immediate needs but also attending to meet students for future needs as well.

Diversity Career Fair

Date: Wednesday, March 6, 2024

The MATC Diversity Career Fair connects area employers that are invested in hiring diverse talent to the MATC student and alumni community. Employers attending this fair will share current and anticipated job and internship opportunities within their organizations. All MATC students and alumni in all academic pathways are invited to attend.


Career Forums:

WIPCCC Career Expo
Date: Tuesday, February 20, 2024
Time: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The WIPCCC Career Expo will be held in downtown Milwaukee at the newly renovated space inside 3rd Street Market Hall. This new venue will provide more opportunities for students and alumni to make employer connections, mingle, and stay engaged longer with employers. This Career Expo is open to all Wisconsin college and university students and alumni!

A shuttle will be available between the Downtown Milwaukee Campus and this event.

Shuttle pick-up and drop-off location: Corner of 7th & Highland

Departure Times from MATC's Downtown Milwaukee Campus to the 3rd Street Market Hall:

  • 2:45 p.m.
  • 3:15 p.m.

Return Times back to MATC's Downtown Milwaukee Campus from the 3rd Street Market Hall:

  • 5:45 p.m.
  • 6:15 p.m.
