Improve your Interviewing Skills By:
1) Scheduling a Mock Interview
★ Practice your interviewing skills by scheduling a mock interview with one of our Employment Specialists!
- Send an email to careerhub@matc.edu to get connected with an Employment Development Specialist for a virtual or in-person mock interview.
- Include your major and your student ID.
- Prepare in advance of your appointment by practicing with Big Interview.
2) Utilizing our Big Interview Platform:
★ Big Interview is available 24/7 to all MATC students and alumni. Practice interviews anytime with pre-recorded questions, sorted by industry, skills, and situations. Get instant feedback to improve your responses and boost your interview skills. Use this valuable resource to build confidence and prepare for your next opportunity!
How to Use Big Interview — Students:
- Login to matc.biginterview.com by clicking “Log In” in the upper right-hand corner, then by using your @gmatc.matc.edu email address and password.
- If you forgot your gmatc email address and password, contact the MATC IT Help Desk at 414-297-6541.
- Review video lessons in the "Learn" dashboard.
- Browse the question library for more tips.
- Complete a Practice Interview.
- Click “General Start Here”
- Click “Custom Sets” to try out our CareerHub Common Practice Questions set.
- Record and save your answers.
- Submit the completed interview.
- Review your recorded answers and view feedback by selecting the AI Review tab.
- Watch the video below to explore all the features of Big Interview.
Faculty and Big Interview:
★ Faculty can also use Big Interview in the classroom by creating virtual mock interview assignments along with assessments that measure desired learning outcomes. Faculty interested in using Big Interview in the classroom can get started by filling out our CareerHub Request Form.
