Connect with a Career Coach

MATC has an abundance of resources to help you make decisions about your college major and your career. Three-fourths of college students are undecided about their college major. You're not alone.  Career Coaches are here to support you as you begin to explore and understand career paths.

What we do

  • Assessments - Help individuals explore their interests and connect to educational goals and future employment.
  • Career Research – Identify jobs associated with degrees, skills needed, abilities, tasks, knowledge, daily work activities, education requirements, etc.
  • Labor Market Information – Review wages and employment trends.
  • Explore -  Help individuals explore different careers and MATC’s Academic Pathways.
  • Connect  - Bridge to content experts / industry professionals, and four-year transfer partners.
  • Goal Setting - Establish to identify and clarify a career path.

Career Planning Virtual Workshops

Career Exploration is a one hour career planning workshop where participants will begin the process to identify and explore careers that are best suited to their abilities and interests. As part of this interactive workshop, participants will have the opportunity to complete an online career interest inventory where the results will help identify careers and programs matched to interests. Participants will also explore labor market trends, average salaries, and their personal work values.
