Readmissions Application Instructions

If you were previously enrolled at MATC and have been away for a year or more, you are required to submit a readmissions application. (If you have been away for less than a year, you may register at matc.edu/register.) Here’s how to complete the application:

  1. Go to the MATC application (use the button above).
  2. Click on Create an Account: If you have already applied to MATC using this system, or if you see a message that your email has already been used, click the “Sign In” button next to “Create Account.” Sign in with your email and select “Forgot Password” to reset your password and continue with the application.
    • Account Locked Error If you receive an "Account is Locked" message, please email apply@matc.edu to request an account unlock. Admissions will then unlock your account and send you a temporary password.
  3. Verify Your Email: If you created a new account, you will need to verify your email address. Follow the instructions sent to your email to complete this step.
  4. Complete the Admissions Application: Fill out and submit the application form.
  5. Submit the $2.00 Application Process Fee or input waiver code
  6. Submit Supplemental Items: Provide any additional required documents, if applicable.

For students applying to a health program (except Nursing Assistant)
MATC will no longer require a criminal background check prior to admission to the College, but will require the completion of a CBC after a student has been accepted into a Health program as part of the petition process for the Healthcare Pathway (i.e., petitioning is the application process used to be admitted into the core-technical classes).

MATC will not deny admission to any Healthcare Pathway program based upon the result of the criminal background check. However, agencies who serve as clinical or field placement sites for MATC Healthcare Pathway courses reserve the right to deny a placement based upon criminal background check results. Denial of placement is in the sole discretion of the clinical or field placement agency or site, and MATC does not retain authority or control over denial of clinical or field placement based on criminal background checks.

Waitlisted Programs

If the program you are reapplying to has a waiting list, the instructional department will determine if you can be readmitted directly to a segment of the program or must be placed on the waiting list.

The graduation requirements in effect at the time of your readmission will be used to determine your eligibility for graduation.
