Academic Life Coaching

Are you a student who wants to improve your grades? Are you feeling stressed by college expectations or balancing life as a college student? Do you want to talk through some challenges or want to create a plan to be successful with your goals?

Academic Life (Retention) Coaches can help you achieve college success!

We help students address challenges impacting their college experience, such as time and priority management, study strategies, connecting to campus resources, or creating a plan to balance work, family and coursework.

The Plan for Success form (link) provides you with awareness of key points that impact successful completion of your courses: WHY you are here, WHERE and WHEN for completing homework or preparing for tests, and WHAT helps you and WHAT distracts from doing the course work.

Students - Use this link to connect with a coach: Academic Life Coaching Request form (link)
Bilingual coaches and specialists are available - please include specific request if needed on the form.

OR search for the College Success / Academic Life Coaching service with the EAB Navigate Student App (link)

Faculty and staff - Please share our information with students. You may use Navigate to Issue a Referral as a way to share information with the student and inform a campus office of a student's need. See EAB Navigate Resources in myMATC for more information.
