Testing Services

Test Center Policies

  • You must have a valid photo ID. If you fail to present a valid ID, you will not be allowed to test. Pearson Vue may require two forms of identification depending on the exam.
  • Cell phones and all other electronic devices are not permitted in the testing room.
  • All personal belongings must be kept or stored in the designated areas.
  • No guests are allowed in the Testing Center.
  • Food and beverages are not allowed in the Testing Center.
  • Bring proof of payment if there is a fee for your test.

Tests Offered

CLEP (College Level Examination Program)

Earn college credit for what you already know with qualifying scores on one or more CLEP exams. These computerized exams test knowledge of introductory college-level subjects. Visit the College Board CLEP website for details including selecting your exam and paying.

Apprenticeship Accuplacer

The Accuplacer test is used for apprenticeships in various trades. To better prepare for your test session, contact your local apprenticeship or institution to verify which test subjects you are required to take. Bring a copy of your authorization letter from your Union/Agency. For more information about Accuplacer and free sample questions please visit http://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students

Mechanical and Spatial

GED

GED Testing is provided by Pearson VUE and is available at all four MATC Campuses. The first step in earning your GED or HSED is to take the TABE Assessment and meet with an MATC Advisor. Students must participate in GED workshop and orientation in order to schedule GED exams with Pearson Vue. Students are required to bring in two valid forms of identification. One photo id with signature and one id with signature.

TABE (Test for Adult Basic Education)

Complete application at the campus Welcome Center and pay fee.

Proctor Services

MATC Assessment Center offers proctoring services for students who need to have an exam proctored for another college or university
