MATC Waives Application Fee as Many Face Financial Challenges

No Application Fee to Start in Summer 2020, Fall 2020 or Spring 2021

MILWAUKEE -- In response to financial challenges due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Milwaukee Area Technical College  is waiving the $30 application fee for students who enroll beginning in Summer 2020, Fall 2020 or Spring 2021.  

“If you’re experiencing financial challenges, you do not have to put your college and career plans on hold,” MATC President Vicki J. Martin said. “We are waiving the application fee and encouraging students to explore the free-tuition MATC Promise programs for eligible adults and new high school graduates.”

Registration is open now for online summer and fall courses. Future students can apply now -- with no application fee -- at matc.edu/apply. Students who just want to take a class can start the process online as well. To see if you are eligible for Promise programs,  visit matc.edu/promise. Promise applications are due July 17.
