In the spirit of this year’s Earth Week theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” MATC is hosting a series of events at each campus and Walker’s Square to promote environmental stewardship.

Monday April 21

Mequon Campus
- 10 a.m. Trees and shrubs planting
- 11:30 a.m. Adopt-a-Roadway cleanup

| Tuesday April 22 |
West Allis Campus
- 10 a.m. Garbage cleanup and walk to the Child Care Center
- 10:30 a.m. Planting trees at the Child Care Center facilitated by Isaac Palmer, MATC landscape coordinator
- 11:30 a.m. Garbage cleanup

Wednesday April 23
|
Oak Creek Campus
- 1 p.m. Tree planting
- 2 p.m. Take a nature walk through the Oak Creek Campus. Explore the baseball field and see the solar panels lighting the future.

Thursday April 24
|
Walker's Square
- 11 a.m. Planting annuals around main entrance
- 11:30 a.m. Neighborhood garbage cleanup

Friday April 25
|
Downtown Milwaukee Campus
Arbor Day
- 8:45-9:45 a.m. Peace tree planting at the H building on Highland Avenue. Join partners from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and the Milwaukee School of Engineering to plant a peace tree.
- 9:45-10:30 a.m. Neighborhood cleanup
- 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tabling event at the H Building bridge and neighborhood cleanup
- 11 a.m. and noon Green Roof tours
