Now in its fifth year, MATC’s Community Art Collection

Proudly displays the works of local artists, including students, at all campuses and Walker’s Square. The collection is a celebration of shared history and diversity through art. “Our students, faculty, staff and community need to see representations of themselves and of their lived experiences when they step onto our campus,” said Dr. Julie Ashlock, co-chair of the college’s Community Art Committee. “Building the MATC Community Art Collection is an incredibly powerful way for us to support a feeling of inclusion and belonging.” Here is a sampling of the pieces you’ll see throughout the college.
