David Sherill
David Sherrill was named chief district facilities officer in April 2025. He oversees building management, maintenance, custodial services, print services and construction at all facilities in the MATC District. He also directs the college’s waste management/recycling program.
Before coming to MATC, Sherrill served as assistant general manager at the Wisconsin Club, where he led, mentored and developed a strong management team and staff.
He has more than 20 years of experience in running operations at numerous arenas and sports venues, collaborating with his teams to produce concerts, two NCAA Final Four basketball events, along with many NHL and NBA games.
Sherrill holds a master’s degree in facilities planning and management from Ohio University, and a bachelor’s degree in facilities planning and management from North Carolina State University.
