MATC Employees Celebrate MATC Day
On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, MATC employees celebrated Spring’s MATC Day to connect with colleagues, participate in development workshops and employee appreciation activities. The day’s highlights included a general session presented by MATC President Vicki J. Martin, Ph.D. followed by a special acknowledgement for her contributions in planning and executing MATC Day since this would be her last MATC Day as president. Dr. Martin recently announced her retirement effective June 30, 2024. Employees also enjoyed a keynote address by Rob Johnstone from the National Center for Inquiry & Improvement titled "Optimizing the Student Experience Through an Equitable Guided Pathways Framework: Grounding the Work in Post-Graduation Success.” Employee appreciation activities at all campuses included coffee with colleagues, raffles and games.
