CONGRATULATIONS TO IET CAREER PATHWAY COMPLETERS - WINTER 2023
On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the MATC Education Center at Walker’s Square, MATC awarded completion certificates to 12 students in the Integrated Education and Training (IET) program. IET connects adult high school, GED, HSED and English as a Second Language students to career-focused and four-your transfer programs.The students completed IET programs in Healthcare Customer Service, Office Technology Assistant (OFTEC) and Bilingual Office Assistant, and each earned six college credits toward an associate degree or technical diploma program. Student completers Zakia M. Adbul-Khaliq and Eddie J. Knox discussed their academic journeys. Margarita Sanchez earned an IET administrative professional certificate in December 2022. She now is in MATC’s Accounting Assistant program and plans to earn her technical diploma in May 2024. Students received certificates and congratulations from MATC President Vicki J. Martin, Ph.D., other MATC administrators and IET Coordinator Isamary Reyes.
