Milwaukee Area Technical College President Dr. Vicki J. Martin has been named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s list of the Milwaukee area’s 100 “power brokers.” The Milwaukee Business Journal describes “power brokers” as “business executives who are helping get things done in southeastern Wisconsin.”
Dr. Martin’s listing was accompanied by the following text:
“Vicki Martin has long been a champion of access to affordable education. Martin, who was named president of MATC in 2014, spearheads the MATC Promise program, which pays the tuition and fees for eligible students with funds from the MATC Foundation. She has also been a key player as the region preps to fulfill the influx of jobs with the arrival of Taiwanese giant Foxconn Technology Group.”
