About the Credential
Classes are held at the MATC Education Center at Walker’s Square, 816 West National Avenue, Milwaukee.
Earners of this badge will complete GMAW - short circuit, GMAW - spray, FCAW - G (.045 - .062 diameter wire), and metalcore in multiple positions. Students will have the opportunity to take a horizontal 2G on 3/8" GMAW -spray practice test, a 3G 1" FCAW practice test, a Metalcore 1G 1" practice test. These are tests that are utilized by employers in manufacturing and can help you to gain employment.
