About the Badge

Those enrolled in this specialized seven-course digital badge will gain entry-level skills to work in residential electrical construction. Basic electrical wiring, and code fundamentals provide skills and knowledge needed to work with wires, cables, and blueprints.

MATC’s digital badges are an easy way for earners to share their verifiable knowledge and skills both socially and professionally.  

All MATC’s digital badges are earned when the identified course(s) within the badge are all completed with a grade of C or better. This more immediate method of delivering credentials allows our students to showcase their hard-earned skills faster and stand out to employers sooner.

The cost of earning a digital badge is paid through tuition. If you are applying for the badge only, options include paying in full, a payment plan, or third-party sponsorship, however you will not be eligible for Financial Aid. If you earn the badge as part of a larger technical diploma or associate degree program, tuition also may be covered through Financial Aid.
