Rapid Registration

Hundreds of new and continuing students got ready to attend Milwaukee Area Technical College this spring at a Rapid Registration event held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the college’s Downtown Milwaukee Campus.

Representatives from admissions, advising, financial aid, multicultural services, and various student-facing departments assisted prospective, new and returning students in signing up for college classes, getting information and answering questions.

The college’s spring semester officially starts the week of Sunday, January 19..

The Rapid Registration sessions are designed to reach students who had been admitted to MATC, but who had not yet registered for classes. The events have been held on weekends, since many new and continuing students work and cannot come to campus during the week.

More than 170 students registered at a similar event held in August 2024.
