Employees and students of Milwaukee Area Technical College spent 3,693 hours giving back to the community during the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County's Season of Caring in 2017.

That's the second-highest total of United Way volunteer hours of any organization in the area.

MATC was honored with an award recognizing the achievement at a United Way event in December. President Dr. Vicki J. Martin accepted the award on behalf of the college's staff.
