Thanks to the generosity of thoughtful donors who contribute to MATC's scholarship programs, each year the Foundation awards more than $1 million in scholarships to over 900 students entering or continuing their studies at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Establish a Named Scholarship
Ensure scholarship resources for MATC students of today and tomorrow.
Endowed Scholarship Fund
Your contribution can last beyond your lifetime and benefit generations of students. With a gift of $25,000 or more, you can create a legacy gift or memorial fund. You can reach your goal with an outright gift or make payments over a five-year period. Awards from your fund can be designated to benefit students in a specific college program.
Designated Scholarship
Your gift of $5,000 or more creates an opportunity to establish a named scholarship that can be designated for a specific program or area of study. In recognition of your support at this level the scholarship fund will be named in your honor. This type of scholarship fund is open to additional gifts over the life of the fund.
Annual Gift Scholarship
You can create a named scholarship that will address the current needs of MATC students with an annual commitment of $1,000 or more for at least five years. Funds from this scholarship are awarded within the twelve months after they are received and create an opportunity to impact students in one or more programs or areas of study. Annual gifts are encouraged after the initial five year period.

MATC Promise Scholarship Fund
You can help recent high school graduates and adults who are returning to school to earn a college education. Your gift to the MATC Promise Endowment or Scholarship Fund will help fund the gap between federal and state grants, and the tuition and fees at MATC.
Pathway or Program Specific Scholarships
You can contribute to one or more of the existing scholarship funds that provide support to MATC students in various college programs or pathways. Scholarships in this category range from $500 to $2,500+.
General Scholarship Fund
Your gift to this fund is combined with other donations to support students with financial need who aren’t receiving one of the MATC Foundation’s other scholarships.
