You can make substantial contributions to the Foundation while providing an opportunity to avoid capital gains. To make a gift of securities, please contact foundation@matc.edu.
VIA UNITED WAY
If your employer participates in a workplace United Way campaign, you can designate your gift to the MATC Foundation, Inc. by adding the MATC Foundation under the "write in" option.
CORNERSTONE SOCIETY
The Cornerstone Society recognizes those donors who have made legacy plans that include the Milwaukee Area Technical College Foundation in their will, a trust, life insurance policy or other planned gift.

MATCHING GIFTS

You can make a gift to the MATC Foundation in memory or in honor of someone special by giving to an existing fund (donors using our online form will be prompted for memorial gift information), or by phone at (414) 297-6825, or by mail. Send checks made payable to "MATC Foundation” to the following address:

The MATC Foundation will report the names and addresses of memorial donors to a designated family member, should the family wish to send acknowledgements.
Where To Give
PROMISE
The MATC Promise is a public-private partnership that provides students a last-dollar scholarship, meaning the scholarship will cover the cost of tuition for up to 75 credits that is not covered by financial aid or other grants. Students may be responsible for other fees and for the cost of books. Click here on the Foundation Promise page for more information.
SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT
If you would like to support a specific scholarship within a certain department, you can designate your donation on the donation form by choosing “Other” and typing in your fund, department or field of choice. Click here to view our list of active funds.
EMERGENCY FUND
To help meet the financial needs of MATC students who encounter an emergency situation or one-time, unusual or unforeseen expense that prevents them from attending school.
FOUNDATION SUPPORT FOR AREA OF GREATEST NEED
Monies donated in this fund go to the greatest needs of MATC students. Your generosity to this fund allows the college the flexibility and resources to meet the immediate needs of our students. These needs range from individual support in extraordinary hardships to special programs and initiatives.
