Learn about us and interact with our staff and faculty through any of these virtual sessions from home.

If you can’t join us by video chat through your computer or smartphone, you can always join by calling. We will send you a link and phone number after you RSVP. By the way, all sessions will be hosted via Google Hangouts, so if you join by smartphone, you will have to download the Google Meets application. No need to install anything else if joining from your computer – the link we send will be enough to get you connected.

Description

Sign up for an MATC Live! Info Session to learn more about MATC. Also, now that the Promise program has reopened its application for the High School Class of 2020, learn more about free tuition for eligible students (matc.edu/promise). Connect with representatives from our admissions, advising and financial aid offices. Get tips on career exploration, choosing career paths, applying for admission and paying for school.

Who Should Attend? 

All are welcome, especially undecided students, dual enrollment students, interested applicants and career or program changers.

MATC Live! Promise for Adults Info Session

Description

Attention adults who started college, but never finished: MATC's Promise for Adults means free tuition for eligible students! If you meet the criteria and are pursuing a degree related to a "top 50" career, you may be eligible for this great opportunity. In this info session, you'll learn about the program and how to sign up with Promise staff and advisors. Read about Promise here, or save your spot for the next Promise for Adults Info Session.

Who Should Participate?

Adults 24 years or older who are interested in learning about the Promise for Adults program.

MATC Live! Nursing Information Sessions

Description

Are you thinking about pursuing a career in nursing? If so, join this virtual session to learn more. MATC Live! Nursing Information Session is for new, returning or transfer students. You'll have direct contact with MATC representatives who can answer questions about this high-demand career. MATC offers Nursing Assistant, Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing programs. We’ll cover topics such as career and program descriptions, job outlooks, transfer options, tuition costs and more!

Who Should Participate? 

All future students who are interested in learning more about nursing careers and MATC's programs.

MATC Live! Chat With the Instructor

Description

MATC’s outstanding faculty members have relevant experience in their fields – they bring a variety of life experiences and community involvement to their teaching. Join us for a 30-minute live chat session to meet MATC’s industry-expert instructors. You'll learn about careers and specific information about the featured programs within each Academic & Career Pathway. These live chat discussions are facilitated by MATC recruiters in an interview format. Each interactive session will be for a group of five to six students. Using the live chat field, participants can ask questions about the featured program or related careers.

Who Should Attend?

All are welcome, especially undecided students, dual enrollment students, interested applicants and career or program changers.

MATC Live! High School Partners Town Hall

Description

MATC Live! High School Partners Town Hall is an opportunity for CACC staff, counselors, educators, administrators and other dedicated high school partners to learn about MATC’s recent updates and innovative practices. If your current seniors are considering MATC, join us to learn about MATC Live!, Promise, admissions and dual enrollment. This session will answer questions you have and will connect you to MATC experts. RSVP to receive instructions on how to join the meeting. 

Who should attend?

School counselors, CACC staff, administrators, lead faculty, dual enrollment liaisons

Duration

Maximum 45 minutes: 25 minutes of content and 20 minutes for questions and answers.

  • 2018 Graduate Report: MATC surveys its graduates yearly to determine the percentage of our graduates who found jobs within six months of graduation. Check out the data in this report to discover potential earnings, and the current and projected employment figures in your chosen field.
