As the college’s philanthropic partner, the MATC Foundation facilitates private investments that remove barriers to education, accelerate careers and deliver skilled talent to the Milwaukee area.
Scholarships and other financial support for students are vital investments in student success. Scholarship recipients have a retention rate nearly three times higher than the college’s overall student population; they graduate more quickly and with higher GPAs – and are essential to the region’s workforce pipeline.

Our Mission
As the college’s philanthropic partner, MATC Foundation’s mission is to build donor relationships to facilitate private investments that remove barriers to education, accelerate careers, and deliver skilled talent to the Milwaukee area. The Foundation also serves as the financial steward of private donations to Milwaukee PBS, a viewer-supported service of MATC.

MATC Promise
Metro Milwaukee has a workforce dilemma. Employers have hard-to-fill job openings while at the same time many residents live in persistent poverty with high unemployment. MATC works at the intersection of this dilemma. The MATC Promise is one solution.

What We Do
The MATC Foundation is dedicated to making college accessible to accelerate careers and deliver skilled talent to our region’s workforce. More than two-thirds of MATC students qualify for financial aid, but without scholarships and grants provided through the generosity of private donors, many struggle to pay for their education
