DW HVAC & Electrical Upgrades Replacement of the air handling unit at the S building penthouse, and installation of new digital controls to monitor heating and cooling efficiently. Several ACs and exhausts are being added to the IDF closets in the S, H, T, M, and FH buildings. Summer 2020

DW Restroom Improvements DMC S313, S317 & OCA 219 - 221 This project involves complete upgrades to two sets of men's and women's public restrooms including one on the third floor of the Downtown Milwaukee Campus S-Building and the other at the Oak Creek Campus Aviation Center. There will be new tile floors and walls, ceiling tile systems, toilet stalls, along with new plumbing fixtures, lighting and mechanical systems. Both campus locations are also proposed to have new uni-sex restrooms integrated between the new men's and women's restrooms. Fall 2021 Summer 2022
Districtwide Office Improvements M224 / M336 This project is proposing new carpet tiles in all spaces with walls to be painted and standard ceiling tiles to be installed. New lighting will be installed along with updated HVAC equipment and building automation system digital controls. Summer 2022

M Building M440 Anatomy/Physiology Classroom/Lab This project renovated an existing computer classroom into a classroom/lab for the Anatomy & Physiology program. This classroom/lab also the last of three A&P classes to be relocated from the sixth floor of the Main Building to the fourth floor. The project also renovated a general classroom to accomodate the Occupational Therapy program class that was displaced. Spring 2021 Fall 2021
DMC Main Building Steam to Hot Water Conversion Phase 1 This project will include upgrading electrical, digital controls for HVAC, plumbing & fire protection. Fall 2021 Spring 2022
DMC - Main & C-Building Entry Door Replacement The named project is to replace the deteriorated doors and adjacent supporting structural components. The door openings and doors are badly damaged due to weather and salt corrosives. The project plan is to replace the three M-Bldg Doors at entries numbered One, Two and Four and C-Bldg Doors at entries Two and Five. The project is a necessary improvement, safety, and security project. Spring 2022 Summer 2022
DMC - Pharmacy Tech Lab Remodel As part of the HEC Building vacation, the Pharmacy Tech program was relocated to the fourth floor of the Main Building in to space vacated by the Physical Therapy program relocation to the Mequon Campus. This project also renovation a remaining space as a general use classroom. Spring 2021 Fall 2021
DMC M District Wide Corridor Improvement Remodel of the second floor corridors for the Downtown Milwaukee campus, Main (M), Continuing Education (C) and Technical (T)Buildings. This includes new study “nodes”, built-in waste receptacles, informational TV monitors, accent wall/ceiling lighting and signage. The second floor corridor will be remodeled with new mechanical and electrical systems, along with new ceilings, and paint. Spring 2020 Fall 2020
DMC Main Building Roof Replacements Areas 5, 33A-B & 20 A large portion of the Main Building roof is being completely replaced with a new roofing system. New roof coping is also being installed. Also, new roof hatches over existing locations along with safety railing around each new roof hatch will be installed. Fall 2021 Summer 2022
DMC Mise en Place Baking Lab Improvements M686/M692 Construction and remodel of an outdated Bakery and Culinary Labs located in the Main Building at the Downtown Campus Labs. The two Labs will be divided by shared spaces including storage and dishwashing area. These spaces will be remodeled with new wall, floor and ceiling systems and MEP systems. Summer 2020 Spring 2021
DMC Pathway Office Renovations C202-210 & M386-388 We are creating guided pathways for two separate disciplines and a location where deans and staff gather with students and provide services. Spring 2021 Spring 2021
DMC Restroom Improvements M551, M608, M608A/B, M624 Upgrades to restrooms providing men's and womens's room on the 6th floor of the Main building. The room M551 space is being updated to make it more user friendly and energy efficient. M624 will be an office suite for three members of staff. The updates include, but are not limited to Finishes, Plumbing, HVAC, coils, piping, DDC Controls, Electrical, Honeywell duct detectors, Demolition of existing areas, HVAC, coil, piping & Electrical, etc. Winter 2020 Spring 2021

DMC C Building Data Center Improvements Renovation of the C building data center in the 3rd floor. This is considered phase 2 of 3. New electrical and mechanical rooms will be built out in the east & west adjacent spaces to provide redundant power & cooling for the data center. Part of the north side of the data center will now become storage & prep space for I.T. Summer 2021 Spring 2022
C Building Fire Protection Phase 1 Installation of new electrical and water services for the C building. New fire pump room was built on the first level of the C building mechanical room. Fire sprinkler system is installed on the 2nd and 4th floors in this first phase. Spring 2020 Spring 2022
C Building Fire Protection Phase 2 C-Building Fire Protection Phase 2 project consisting of installing the rest of the sprinkler piping infrastructure, sprinkler heads, electrical and any ceiling modifications needed with new lighting to accommodate the new fire protection for the second half of the building. Phase 2 covers lower level parking structure, upper level parking structure including level 1, level 3, level 5 & penthouses. Summer 2020 Spring 2022
DMC - C Building Data Center Electrical Upgrades New HVAC Equipment and Electrical Panels will be installed to offer duplicate system redundancy for the districtwide data center. Summer 2021 Spring 2022
DMC Business Office Relocation The Business Office Relocation Project is a LEED initiative designed to make this space energy efficient with the smallest carbon footprint achievable. It will relocate the Business Office functions to the fourth floor of the C building in a newly renovated space. Its design will allow natural outside light to transmit throughout the entire newly renovated space. It will also house the Finance Office Suite.. It includes dedicated and shared conference spaces within the suite and adjacent to it. Fall 2021 Spring 2022

DMC C-Building Emergency Generator Replacement Replacement of a generator and addition of new power supply for the data center on the third floor of the C building and the C building east penthouse where the new substations and a mechanical room will be built. Fall 2021 Spring 2022
DMC IT Office Remodel The project is a continuation of the C Building Fire Protection Phase 1 project. In the 2nd phase of the project, a fire sprinkler system will be installed on the 1st, 3rd, and penthouse levels. Fall 2021 Spring 2022

DMC MPBS Office & Penthouse Improvements C450, C452 New metal stairs are being installed along with a new exterior door and new insulated wall panel system infilled at an old HVAC louver, leading from the C-Building Penthouse. Existing doors will have new hardware installed with new doors replacing old ones, in a stairway adjacent to the C-Building Penthouse. DMC Pathway Office Renovations C202-210 & M386-388 Pathways Offices renovations are being undertaken to support the best climate for student success and delivery of Guided Pathways Services. It includes the renovation of the adjacent rooms C200, C202, C204, C208, and C210 into an adjoined functional Guided Pathways Student Services Office Suite. Likewise, similar Guided Pathways renovations are being conducted in spaces M386, M388 and M301A to support the delivery of student services. Fall 2020 Summer 2021

DMC - Student Center - Coffee Shop - S114A

Remodel of an approximate 400 square foot area of the southwest portion of the first floor of the S-Building, located at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus, into a new Student Center Coffee Shop. It will include a Café and adjacent Lounge. The new layout will have new commercial equipment, painted drywall partitions and soffits, countertops, base cabinets, sneeze guards, ceiling tile system, overhead rolling security grilles, and new mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment. DMC - Student Center - Level 1 - Remodel S114-120 Renovation of the existing Job Shop, auditorium and shared spaces on the southwest of the first level of the Student Center at the Downtown Campus. The project will remodel the space for the Enter pillar departments that serve prospective students: Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid and Cashier’s Office. In alignment with the S Building Master Plan, it will include a new cashier’s office, student navigation area and lounge, conference space, four (4) offices, nine (9) private conference rooms, and six (6) semi-private conference spaces. DMC Admissions Center Remodel S115 Remodel the northwest portion of the First Floor of the S-Building, located at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. This includes the construction of new private offices, specialist workstations, conference rooms, locker space and break room. This project is proposing new carpet tiles throughout most rooms with vinyl tile to be installed in break room. All walls wiill be painted. Standard ceiling tiles and drywall ceilings will be installed. New lighting will be installed along with updated HVAC equipment and building automation system digital controls. New sprinkler heads to be installed and connected to existing fire protection system. Summer 2021 Summer 2022
DMC Career & Employment Center, S101 Northside of the S building atrium is remodeled and turned into an advisory area for faculty and students. There are private offices, open seating in the central area, a kitchenette for staff, and a storage area. Summer 2021 Spring 2022
DMC Food Court Kitchen Remodel S300,S315 This project proposes to remodel the northwest portion of the third floor of the S-Building, located at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. This project proposes to remodel the southwest portion of the S-Building third floor located at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. This project will include a new commercial kitchen and publically accessible food service lines and dining area. New floor, wall and ceiling finishes will be provided throughout. S Building Unit Substation Replacement The S Bldg electrical service will change the equipment that provides power to the entire S building. The new equipment will include a new unit substation and switchgear lineup. The new switchgear lineup will be sized to incorporate the new kitchen equipment on the 3rd floor. Summer 2022 Summer 2022

DMC S Building Generator Replacement This generator is located back of the C building adjacent to the new Data Center. The project includes power to a new fire pump in Foundation Hall. Emergency power for life safety systems in FH and S buildings; backup power for a new command center in FH; plus backup power for future connections to various small HVAC loads designed to keep from freezing in the winter. Generator will be located in the alley adjacent to the C building center generator. Summer 2022 Spring 2023
DMC Student Center AHU Replacement S400 Removal of six air handling units in the Student Center penthouse - S400 that serve the 3rd floor cafeteria, kitchen, student area & seating area. The remodeling of the 3rd floor cafeteria & seating area are running concurrently to this construction project to provide three new air handling units to serve these new spaces. This project includes upgrading electrical, digital controls for HVAC, plumbing & fire protection. Summer 2021 Spring 2022
DMC S Building Entrance Vestibule Door 1 & 2 Replacements The Student Center (S building) Vestibule Door Replacement Project will remove damaged and poorly functioning doors replacing them with new doors. The doors have failed over time due to weather and corrosion. Moreover, the replacement will coincide with the Student Center Vestibule Remodel. Summer 2022 Winter 2022

DMC T Bldg Green Roof & 3rd - 4th Fl W Window Replacements

This project details with the renovation of the third floor southwest roof of the T Building to install an access door from the T to H connector bridge and to create a green roof outdoor classroom and gathering space in accordance with MATC's sustainability standards and grant funding from both the Fund for Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. Spring 2022 Fall 2022
DMC T Building Green Roof Structural Improvements This project is the first stage of the total Green Roof Project on the T Building. Structural steel will be added to the 2nd floor roof area from inside the building to carry the added Green Roof items. This work includes removal of most of the interiors in T200 and some of the items in T202 and T210. Once completed, the exterior windows will be removed as required so the steel beams can be brought into the space and installed. After all of the structural steel is completed, the interiors of T200, T202 & T210 will be restored to their original condition. Fall 2021 Summer 2022
DMC T311 Classroom Remodel This project proposes to remodel an existing classroom on the T-Building third floor located at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. This project will include new floor and wall finishes. The concrete floor structure above will be left exposed and painted. DMC Foundation Hall Level 2 Improvements Construction Phase Spring 2022 Winter 2022
DMC Fire Protection Improvements FH 5-8 This project will provide a continuation of the sprinkler system on floors 5-8. This will include a fire pump to provide appropriate pressure for the sprinkler heads throughout the Foundation Hall Building. The Foundation Hall project will also provide life safety upgrades to the lighting system in Foundation Hall and the S Bldg. Currently Foundation Hall and the S Bldg. have emergency lighting powered by battery powered lighting systems. This project will provide new LED emergency lights throughout the facility the facility powered by emergency circuits provided from a new Life Safety Panel powered by the S bldg. generator. Additionally, there are alternates to replace the west stairwell doors and frames on floors 5-7, one to create a raised opening in the 3rd floor to create higher ceiling area as you enter FH from the S Bldg, and replace the coiling door on the first floor into the loading dock with a double door along with replacing the first floor sectional door and frame between the entry and stairwell. 8th & State Parking Structure Security Improvements This project consisted of security improvements for the parking structure that included: new LED lighting throughout the parking and lobby areas, a new air conditioning unit & exhaust fan to cool the IDF closet on the first floor, and add a bike rack & fixstation on the first level of the structure. Summer 2020 Spring 2021
DMC 8th & Juneau Stormwater Pocket Park A new park that was designed to help retain and control ground water in that area that also includes new trees, shrubs, flowers and other plantings to beautify the area. The park has a retention basin that holds and releases water slowly into the sewer system thus helping with the reduction of stormwater in the overall system. It also created an area for residents and visitors to walk through and rest while being in this part of the city. This project was partially funded by MMSD and was completed this year. DMC Underground Storage Fuel Tank Upgrades The old steel underground fuel storage tank and controls was replaced with two new 1000 gallon fuel tanks, one for gasoline and one diesel fuel. The new system incoporates the newest safety equipment and systems for this use. MATC uses these fuels to operate their fleet of trucks, mowers and snow moving equipment. Mequon Mechanical Services Installation of new equipment in the Mechanical Room ME-A145 including a water-to-water heat pump, hot water pumps, chilled water pumps, geothermal water pumps, etc. to assist in running the new geothermal system. There will also be some minor updates to the mechanical room to allow this mechanical room to be an educational experience viewing from the hallway with new windows showing off the new equipment and colored insulated piping. The contractor will also be adding a new entrance door from the hallway with a staircase to access the room easier for educational tours to get the full view of the mechanical room. MQC - A226 - Anatomy & Physiology Classroom/Lab Construction Phase Spring 2022 Summer 2022
MQC Geothermal The geothermal borefield is being installed on the west side of the campus adjacent to the pond & parking lot. It will consist of 160 bore wells at 500 feet deep. This system will assist in heating our building in the winter and cool it in the summer. This project includes the demolishing of all of the mechanical equipment (boilers, water heaters, chiller, etc.) in the Mechanical room to prepare for the new equipment. Spring 2020 Fall 2021

OCC Baseball Artificial Turf Field

This project deals with a new OCC Baseball Artificial Turf Field project that will change the existing all grass infield and outfield to synthetic turf. Additional items that will be part of the project are as follows: a new scoreboard, dugouts, lighting, and water retention system under the field, spectator stands, bullpens and batting cages. OCC Dust Collector Replacement This project deals with a dust collector located at the Oak Creek Campus which needs to be replaced. The existing dust collector is 30 years old and has reached its useful life. The new unit will be more energy efficient and is designed for future expansion that will include the removal of debris from other machines. The new dust collector will be installed on the outside of the building, adjacent to the Carpentry Lab, where the existing unit is currently located. Spring 2021 Fall 2021
