Paramedic Technician


Downtown Milwaukee Campus 


Become an integral member of a prehospital emergency care team, providing medical intervention to the ill or injured and continuing that care during transport to a medical facility. Students learn advanced level prehospital care and techniques as performed by ambulance service providers. 
Courses are taught at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus Health Education Center (HEC), 1311 North Sixth Street.

Career Outlook: Employers include ambulance services, hospitals, fire departments, industrial firms and security companies.

Special Admission Requirements: Current Wisconsin EMT-Basic license (or above), current CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer level, completed health requirement forms, caregiver background check.
