Welding Technology

The Welding Technology program combines practical, theoretical and technical training in welding fabrication. Advanced courses deal with application of welding codes to develop the expertise needed to become a Certified Associate Welding Inspector or Certified Welding Inspector. Courses are also offered in the evening to accommodate full-time day employment.
Career Outlook: Demand is high for welders with current skills. Program graduates typically find employment as welding technicians, robotic welding technicians, quality assurance inspectors, technical sales reps and weld test conductors.
