This program prepares students to efficiently and effectively manage the total facility. Emphasis is placed on cost-effective energy options, direct digital controls, energy management systems, sustainable operations management, maintenance management, commissioning, and project management. LEED certification and renewable energy are covered in depth. 

Career Outlook: The projected employment outlook for the field of sustainable facilities operations and management is very strong. In addition, the area of greening facilities operations provides many career options.
