Students learn to systematically plan, evaluate and monitor the components of a product, service or process to ensure that criteria for quality are being met. Quality methods such as Lean and Six Sigma are emphasized to reduce waste, improve operations, and streamline business processes. Graduates may pursue certifications through the American Society for Quality. 

Career Outlook: With the increasing trend toward globalization and standardization across all facets of business, and as the importance of international standards (ISO) become more prevalent, so does the need for well-trained quality personnel.

Special Admission Requirements: One year of high school-level algebra.
