Energy Modeling

Energy modeling is the practice of using computer-based programs to model the energy performance of an entire building or the systems within a building. This certificate program explores the use of eQuest energy modeling software wizards, which assist with understanding a building’s use of energy in interconnecting ways. This accelerated eight-week program moves at a fast pace.

Students must complete course SUSTN-104, Energy Auditing, prior to beginning the Energy Modeling certificate program. 


All credits in this certificate must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 GPA or higher. The student must initiate the request for the certificate upon completion of its requirements.
