
Degrees
An Associate in Applied Science Degree or and Associate in Applied Arts Degree can be earned in two years by going full time. In general, these two degrees focus on employing general principles to solve specific problems in a given program area. The courses associated with these degrees are numbered in the 100 series. Some of these courses may transfer to a four-year college for credit toward earning bachelor's degree.
The Associate in Arts Degree (AA) and the Associate in Science Degree (AS) require two years of full-time study to complete. These degrees require taking courses in the 200-series (for a total of 64 credits)

Diplomas
If you wish to prepare for a specific job or upgrade your job skills, MATC offers specialized programs that can lead to a technical diploma in your chosen field. These programs can vary in length from one semester to one year. These courses are numbered in the 300-series.

Certificates
Certificates are given for the completion of a single course or combination of courses and are usually taken to upgrade job skills.

Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is a formal training agreement providing on-the-job training and related classroom instruction. A participating employer teaches the trade skills on the job and classes are offered in theoretical and practical knowledge pertaining to a given trade.
