2008-09 Course Requirements

Television and Video Production is an associate degree program that prepares you for a career in the production and programming areas of broadcast television, cable or corporate/commercial video. Students gain practical experience in the studios of Milwaukee Public Television. As the only TV production teaching studio in the area, MATC program graduates have excellent entry-level employment opportunities. Potential employers are TV stations, cable systems, advertising agencies, private industry (in-house audio visual), educational institutions and video production houses. Students are required to work hours outside of the normal school day. Core skills include cooperation and an ability to accept direction and responsibility. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
