The Quality Engineering Technology program prepares students to systematically plan, evaluate and monitor the various components of a product, service or process to ensure that criteria for quality are being met. Quality assurance is the difference between success and failure in organizations. Quality methods such as Lean and Six Sigma are emphasized to reduce waste, improve operations, reduce costs by minimizing resource use, and streamline business processes. Students will be prepared with the tools they need to be successful in quality and sustainable engineering technology.
