EMT Intermediate Technician students are Wisconsin-licensed EMT-Basics seeking to upgrade their skills to the EMT Intermediate Technician level. EMT Intermediate Technician students perform emergency patient care, basic life support, and limited advanced life support in the field, transporting injured and ill patients to hospital emergency departments. They also perform care in hospital emergency departments. The field of pre-hospital emergency medical care is an evolving and critical profession that is essential to the health, safety and general quality of life for the communities served.
Please Note: The EMT IT class will close to registration two weeks prior to the start of class.
