The Hotel/Hospitality Management program prepares you for mid-management/supervisory employment in the hotel/motel industry. Coursework covers front desk skills, supervisory principles, sales and marketing, food-beverage service, building operations, and accounting fundamentals. Although this is a day program, selected courses are scheduled for evenings and weekends on a rotating basis. Core skills include being a people person, possessing a high energy level, and having the stamina to work occasional long shifts.
Double Degree Option: Add four to seven courses, and earn an associate degree in both Meeting and Event Management and Hotel/Hospitality Management. See your program advisor for details.
