If you have a background in health care, project management or information technology, a Health Information Technology (HIT) program can be your path to a rewarding career. MATC is one of 84 colleges in the U.S. and the only one in southeastern Wisconsin to offer these innovative programs. This program is part of the national effort to ensure information exchange among healthcare providers and public health authorities while keeping records protected. This is a requirement of the federal Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH) of 2009.
