Prepare for a career in music by developing your skills as a well-rounded musician. Areas of study include theory fundamentals such as reading, analysis, composition, ear training and more. Students choose either the Performance or Composition area of emphasis.

Career Outlook: By extending your musical skills, you increase your possibilities in the music industry. Whether your interest is in front of the microphone or composing, MATC can help you get started on your career path.

Career Pathway: New program under development – Applied Music Specialist technical diploma is planned to debut in 2016-17 as part of this pathway.
