UPASS Now Available for MATC Students

MATC students who take more than six credits a semester now have access to UPASS, a program offered by the Milwaukee County Transit System that provides unlimited transportation on any MCTS bus route.

MCTS routes service all four MATC campuses – Downtown Milwaukee, Mequon, Oak Creek and West Allis. More information about the routes is available at http://www.ridemcts.com/u-pass/index.asp?id=618

As part of the UPASS program, the Ozaukee County Express provides service to the Downtown Milwaukee campus.

“UPASS will be a tremendous benefit to our students,” said Theresa Barry, MATC vice president for student services. “Not only will students have easier access to our campuses, but they can use UPASS for all of their transportation needs.”

As a result of the UPASS, student parking fees were reduced from $40 a semester to $20 a semester or $30 if parking for the fall and spring semesters is purchased at the same time.
