WEST ALLIS, Wis. - Students, faculty and staff, and business and community partners celebrated Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Centennial at the West Allis Campus Thursday, Nov. 10.

MATC President Dr. Michael L. Burke was joined by an MATC student government representative and community members to commemorate 100 years of innovative education.

The former West Allis Vocational School, which dates back to the 1920s, joined the MATC District in 1969. Since then the campus has grown and is home to 37 associate degree, technical diploma and certificate programs.
