MILWAUKEE (April 18, 2011) - Milwaukee Area Technical College nursing instructor Melanie Gray received a 2011 Kate Ellen Polacheck Nursing Education Scholarship Award from Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Milwaukee. Professionals and students are nominated by nurses, physicians and other caregivers as part of an annual tradition at Aurora Sinai. The awards were first presented in 1980 and recognize and celebrate nursing.

“This is a tremendous honor for Melanie,” said Dr. Dessie Levy, dean of MATC’s School of Health Sciences. “She is an exceptional example of professionalism for our nursing students and we are extremely proud of her.”
