MATC Students Fare Well at
WTCS Interior Design Competition
Three Milwaukee Area Technical College students performed well at the Wisconsin Technical College System Interior Design Competition, held April 8 at Waukesha County Technical College.
The competition featured skills events and knowledge-based tests. Marilyn Looker captured first place in the kitchen design event and in the textiles exam. Laurie Wegner finished third in the mock National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam. Darlene Junker registered a third-place finish in the textiles exam.
Students from Fox Valley Technical College, Gateway Technical College, Madison Area Technical College, Waukesha County Technical College and Western Technical College also competed in the annual event.
