SUBJECT: Progress Report #3: Milwaukee Area Technical College Presidential Search

Having completed a successful and informative round of focus groups and a forum on the MATC campus, the Presidential Search Consultant is actively communicating with potential and actual applicants for President of MATC.  Based on our Search Consultant’s recommendation, the target date for applications has been extended until November 2, 2009. This extension will send a strong message to all applicants that this is an open and fair national search and all applications are encouraged.

As you all know, confidentiality is essential in this search process. The confidentiality of the process and the candidates is a benchmark for a fair and open search. We realize that the MATC community has followed the progress of the search with interest. We hope that these periodic updates are helpful to the MATC community.
