The MATC District Board is pleased to announce that the search process has begun to identify the next president of Milwaukee Area Technical College. The board will keep the MATC community informed throughout the presidential search process.
Public Forum The MATC District Board invites and encourages all interested parties at MATC and in the broader community to attend a public forum to provide feedback on the draft Presidential Profile:
Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2009 Time: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Location: Conference Center, S120, 700 West State Street

Recruitment At the direction of the MATC District Board, the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) has begun the recruitment process. The target date for receiving applications is Monday, October 26, 2009. To assist with the process, advertisements will be placed in the Chronicle of Higher Education and other major national and local publications. ACCT will conduct one-to-one recruitment on campuses and at national conferences and meetings throughout the country including ACCT’s national Congress in San Francisco, Calif., October 7 – 10, 2009.
