MATC Instructors Create Ornament Displayed at Governor Doyle’s Executive Residence
|
Animation instructors Brian Mennenoh and Tim Decker, along with partners from Discovery World, collaborated to create an ornament that was displayed at Wisconsin Governor James Doyle’s executive residence.
The ornament was displayed on the “Deck the Halls” tree, one of six themed trees on display in Madison during December. |

The process united the creative talents of MATC staff with the state-of-the-art technology at Discovery World. What started as a concept sketch by Decker, progressed to a three-dimensional model produced in Discovery World’s Prototype Lab, and resulted in a hand-painted final product by Mennenoh.
This partnership may be replicated on future collaborative projects between MATC students and Discovery World.
