Downtown Milwaukee Campus
This program presents the theoretical concepts and clinical applications of procedures used to diagnose and relieve the symptoms of cardiac pathologies. Program applicants select either the invasive (Cardiac Cath Lab) or noninvasive (Echocardiography) subspecialty. After the first year of general CVT courses, each subspecialty focuses on its unique curriculum. Hands-on instruction occurs in campus labs and in hospitals.
Career Outlook: The continuing demand for CVTs indicates exceptional employment possibilities. The projected growth is attributed to an increase in cardiovascular disease and the aging population.
