This certificate is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) and is designed for students who already have completed a baccalaureate degree, with at least 18 of those credits in Liberal Arts courses. Students receiving this certificate are required to work under the supervision of an attorney, to avoid the unauthorized practice of law.

  • Interested students are required to submit an MATC Admissions Application (fee not required) to: MATC Milwaukee Campus Admissions, 700 W. State St., Milwaukee, WI 53233-1443. Pick up an application at an MATC campus, or have one mailed to you. Program Code is 00-110-1.
  • Applicants should submit an official college transcript to the MATC Milwaukee Campus Admissions office.
  • Participating students may enroll in other Paralegal courses concurrent with PLEGAL-101 (Introduction to Paralegalism).
  • Upon completion of the certificate, students must initiate a request for the certificate with Dr. Juana Harrison, Associate Dean, School of Business, MATC Downtown Milwaukee Campus, 700 W. State St., Milwaukee, WI 53233-1443.
