Phase 1 - Project Description Phase 2 - Project Description
Project Description Project Mission Project Goals & Objectives Tech Ed. Model

Initial Focus of Project:
Construction Technology

To be implemented over a three-year period, the project initially targets the Construction Technology area and has a focus on high schools and two-year colleges. Students will receive broad-based knowledge, hands-on experience, and project-based learning. The project allows for curriculum flexibility, providing students with options and opportunities to transition into related career areas.

As the initial focus, the construction career area (cluster) will be monitored and its outcomes evaluated to ensure the effectiveness of the project. Pending additional resources, subsequent clusters may be offered in manufacturing, communication, and transportation technologies.

Instructional delivery will rely on curriculum modules developed collaboratively among secondary school, technical college, and four-year college faculty. Additionally, efforts of engineers and technicians from industry will help integrate the curriculum throughout the grades, highlighting the interdependent applications of mathematics, science, and technology.
