MATC Board Elects New Officers; New Board Member Appointment Approved

MILWAUKEE  -- The Milwaukee Area Technical College Board of Directors elected new officers to one-year terms at the Board Organizational Meeting July 12. A new director appointment also was officially appointed by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board on July 14.

The 2021-2022 officers are:

  • Lisa Olson, superintendent, Whitnall School District, chairperson

  • Erica L. Case, human resources director, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, vice chairperson

  • Citlali Mendieta-Ramos, owner/director of special events, Antigua Latin Restaurant, LLC, secretary

  • Nikki Moews, human resources director, Pioneer Transformers/Pioneer Power Solutions, Inc., treasurer

Antonio Diaz, general manager, Van Horn Latino, was approved as a new member of the MATC District Board, replacing David Mitchell, who resigned his term due to time constraints. Diaz was appointed in the employer (15+) classification and will serve through June 30, 2023.
