NAEYC logo Make a positive impact on a child's life. Attain the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in child care or exceptional education settings for young children. Coursework covers healthcare and nutrition, creative activities, and communication skills. Program requirements include the completion of four practicum experiences.

Career Outlook: Opportunities are available for employment in group child care settings, family child care, or working with exceptional-needs children.  

Career Pathway: You can earn the Preschool certificate and Child Care Services technical diploma on your way to completing this associate degree.

Special Admission Requirements: Good health as evidenced by a medical exam, proper immunizations, documentation of compliance with Wisconsin’s Caregiver Law.
