Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and
Heating Service Technician

Learn how to service and install air conditioning, refrigeration and heating equipment. The curriculum provides instruction in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for residential and commercial use. The operation, repair and installation of gas- and oil-fired heating units are also taught.
Career Outlook: There is an ongoing need for technicians who have current training in HVAC/R units. Program graduates find employment in entry-level positions such as service people, steamfitter apprentices and sheet metal worker apprentices.
