Automotive Maintenance Technician

Students will attain the skills to service and repair the drivetrain, and the electrical and mechanical systems of automobiles. This one year program trains you for employment with automobile dealerships, service stations, specialized shops, general repair garages and franchise repair garages. With instructor’s consent, portions of this program may be taken off campus for co-op credit.
Career Outlook: Graduates typically attain positions with duties including new car predelivery inspection, car cleanup, wheel alignment and balancing, electrical systems repair, engine repair and tuneup, automatic and manual transmission repair.
