Automotive Technology - Comprehensive
Bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance will be taught on automobiles and light trucks. The Automotive Technology programs are CART (Comprehensive Automotive Repair Technology), MOPAR CAP (Career Automotive Program) and Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Educational Training). Manufacturer credentials are earned in ASSET and CAP programs. Instruction alternates between classroom and intern work experience.
Career Outlook: The demand for trained automotive technicians is high. Employment opportunities exist with dealerships, mass merchandisers, service stations and corporate industry.
Career Pathway: You can earn the Automotive Technology Maintenance Light Repair technical diploma on your way to completing this associate degree.
