Automotive Technology - Comprehensive

ASSOCIATE DEGREE

Students prepare to perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance on automobiles and light trucks. The Automotive Technology programs are Mopar CAP (College Automotive Program), CART (Comprehensive Automotive Repair Technology), Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Educational Training) and Honda PACT (Professional Automotive Career Training). Instruction alternates between classroom and intern work experience. 

Career Outlook: The demand for trained automotive technicians is extremely high. Employment opportunities exist with dealerships, mass merchandisers, service stations and corporate industry.

Special Admission Requirements: A dealership sponsor is required to provide internship opportunities as a condition for admission. Program advisors will help you locate a sponsoring dealership.
