Six Sigma Black Belt
Oak Creek Campus — Center for Energy Conservation and
Advanced Manufacturing (ECAM)
This certificate consists of four courses. The first two cover the Green Belt body of knowledge in the Six Sigma problem-solving methodology. The third class is the implementation of a Six Sigma project. The fourth covers additional topics including business performance metrics, customer requirements, benchmarking, change management, design of experiments, and statistical process control.
Special Admission Requirements: MATH-260, or BADM-104, or previous statistics coursework is required to enroll.
Start Dates: August/January
All credits in this certificate must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 GPA or higher. The student must initiate the request for the certificate upon completion of its requirements.
